Patricia A. Potter, LCSW

Patty is the Executive Director of Affinity Family Support Services PC, and a Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice for over 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Gannon University and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. She is a therapist in the Specialized Outpatient Program, as well as an outpatient therapist working with children, adults and families, and couples therapy, specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship/marital issues. 

She was trained by Gregory Keck, PhD, of the Attachment and Bonding Center of Ohio in childhood trauma, attachment, and treatment. In addition, she is trained in evidenced based trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and the promising practice of Girls Circle group work. Her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness based stress reduction and play therapy.

She is currently working on certification through HAP in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a member of NASW and was the recipient of the 2012 Northwest Division of the PA National Social Worker of the Year Award.
