participation of family members.

    Program Specific Outcomes

The program began utilizing the Parenting Relationship Questionnaire as their primary assessment in 2010-11.  The PRQ is an instrument developed to identify parental perspective of the parent-child relationship.  The instrument is administered in one or of two formats: preschool (ages 2-5) and child/adolescent (ages 6-18).   It was administered pretreatment and post treatment (one year later). Data was analyzed by Mercyhurst Civic Institute.

The following areas showed significant improvement:

    • Attachment – 92.9% Showed Improvement
    • Parental Relational Frustration – 92.9% Showed Improvement
    • Parenting Confidence – 78.6% Showed Improvement
    • Communication – 69.2% Showed Improvement
    • Satisfaction with School – 61.5% Showed Improvement
